Hennepin Healthcare’s Clinic & Specialty Center was created to consolidate outpatient and specialty services into one more navigable destination in downtown Minneapolis. The project brought multiple patient-facing and care environments together within a bright, community-forward setting designed to make the arrival-to-care experience clearer and more coordinated. The furniture scope supported high-volume daily use across check-in, waiting, circulation, care delivery, and staff areas.
Henricksen’s work focused on creating a cohesive and functional furniture program that could support patient comfort, staff workflow, and long-term performance across heavily trafficked spaces. Standardized layouts and repeatable solutions helped create consistency throughout the project area, while durable finishes and careful placement supported maintenance, circulation, and day-to-day usability. The completed installation helped the center feel unified, organized, and ready for ongoing campus growth.
The relevance of this project to your RFP is its connection to outpatient and specialty care at scale. Like the AMC Tower, it required furniture coordination across multiple clinical functions, patient touchpoints, staff areas, and public-facing environments where consistency, durability, comfort, and operational clarity all had to work together.
